Knights and Bikes follows the childhood fantasies of two young girls, Nessa and Demelza, as they explore the island of Penfurzy off the coast of 1980s Cornwall, England. These two girls have incredible imaginations that fuel their adventures and their story as they rescue islanders from danger and hunt for treasure. In reality Penfurzy “an island on the fast track to financial ruin and literal destruction.” But in the midst of all of it Nessa and Demelza are a beacon of hope for the islanders.
Knights and Bikes is a co-op action adventure game where players explore Penfurzy on bikes as well a on foot. Co-op is local and if there’s no one to play with you the AI will take over. Players will battle spirits possessing animals and islanders using everyday items transformed through childhood imagination. Both Nessa and Damelza have special abilities that they use in combat. Nessa throws Frisbees and Damzela has a power glove. The girls can also upgrade their abilities and soup up their bikes to defeat spirits, complete quests and explore the island.
